Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum Hosts Prince Ned Nwoko

yesterday featured on the MEET THE LEADER SERIES of the Global Shapers Community. He shared some of his Entrepreneurship journeys, the highs and lows, the good and bad decisions he took in the journey. He encouraged young persons to aspire to lead in their various circles, that way the status quo can be changed. Prince Ned opined that as leaders, we can change the narrative of Nigeria today but that individuals must understand the essence of good governance.



He also gave insights on some of his Foundation projects such as the Malaria Eradication Project, The Stars University and The Mount Ned Resort in Delta State Idumuje Ugboko.

Prince Ned Nwoko Receives Nigerian Afro Pop Sensation, Davido, in His Abuja Resident

The fight to eradicate malaria is one that concerns all and sundry. Prince Ned Nwoko received Nigeria Afro Pop sensation and superstar David Adeleke aka Davido and Dremo, Peruzzi at his Residence in Abuja.

During the visit the Nigeria Afro pop Musician Davido, Peruzzi and Dremo pledged to support the Ned Nwoko Foundation campaign for a Malaria Free Africa.

Courtesy Visit to the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum

Earlier today, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum H.E Chief Timipre Sylva.

During the visit, Prince Ned Nwoko went along side with the Cordinator of the Malaria Project Barr. Chuks Anyaduba and Dr. Michael Nwoko the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State.

Prince Ned Nwoko shared His Antarctica experience with Him and He explained the need for ratification of the Antarctic treaty, Prince Ned also presented Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Project to the Honourable minister and The Honourable Minister also pledge His support and acknowledged the fact that there is a need for nationwide clean up and sanitation.

NSCDC Commandant on a courtesy visit to Prince Ned Nwoko

The Delta State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Dr. Chike-Alpha Ikpeamonwu during the week paid a courtesy visit to Billionaire Philanthropist and Antarctica explorer, Prince Ned Nwoko at Mount Ned in Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State.

The State Commandant said that he deemed it fit to identify with key stakeholders in the state so as to ensure cordial relationship which will promote order, security and peaceful coexistence. The Commandant also expressed his gratitude to the promoter of Proposed Stars University, Hon Ned Nwoko for his previous support to aid the NSCDC in discharging their constitutional roles at the federal, state and local government level.


Dr Chike-Alpha was accompanied by top ranking officers in the Delta State NSCDC command.

Prince Ned Votes at the Delta State PDP Congress Election

Earlier today, Prince Ned Nwoko joined his Party, the People Democratic Party (PDP), as the State PDP Congress election was being held, where the party members had gathered to vote and elect party officials.

He commended the exercise and urged the party members to remain committed to moving the party forward.

He also urged all our party members to continue their support for his Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa, to enable him do more in the state.

Upon announcement of the winning elected officials, he offered his congratulations and wished them all the best.

Salah Celebration: Prince Ned Nwoko Encourages All Muslims to Engage God for the Good of Humanity

The promoter of Stars University, Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha North LGA, Delta State Prince Ned Nwoko yesterday fetes friends and family in celebration of Salah festival. Few friends from Morocco and family members gathered at Laila’s house (one of his wives) at Abuja. Laila took time out to serve all the guests and make them comfortable.

Earlier in the day, The Antarctica explorer and initiator of the eradication of malaria project in Africa, Prince Ned Nwoko in a statement in Abuja wished all Muslim faithful and Nigerians a peaceful celebration with God’s mercy and favour in the season of Sallah.

He prayed for peace and economic progress in Nigeria and the world as testimonies of divine benevolence to humanity, even in the era of Coronavirus pandemic. He also encouraged all Nigerians to observe social distancing while celebrating.

“I encourage all Muslims to continue to engage God for the good of our country and humanity”
Nwoko stated at his residence.

Ned Nwoko also urged Muslims to hold on to God in their endeavours as man is nothing without the Almighty.

Prince Ned Nwoko Set to Donate CCTV Cameras to Police Force Headquarter

Former American President, John F Kennedy once said, “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.”

This has been one of the life philosophies of Prince Ned Nwoko who keeps giving back to the society.


Prince Ned met with the Inspector General of Police, Abubakar Adam, where he made his intention known to support the efforts of Nigerian Police Force in protecting lives and properties by providing CCTV cameras in Abuja. Prince Ned Nwoko was taken on a tour of the control room to have an overview of the effort of the police to respond to distress calls and timely intervention in curbing crimes in FCT. The inspector General of Police commended the philanthropic gesture of Prince Ned Nwoko to identify with the Police in providing tools to compliment government efforts in combating crime in Abuja.

The first phase of the project will include installation of CCTV cameras across 28 locations which would be monitored from the control room at the force headquarters.
