PRINCE NED NWOKO SENATOR-ELECT, EXTOLS LATE CHIEF EDDIE UGBOMAH

Delta North Senator-elect, Prince [Dr] Ned Nwoko has described the death of Anioma-born renowned movie producer and television personality, Chief Eddie Ugbomah as hard to believe and saddening while extolling him as an authentic entertainment guru.

Speaking today on the transition of the veteran producer, he said it was with utter shock and disbelief that he received the news of the sudden transition to eternal glory of Chief Ugbomah who he described as a worthy entertainment star of Delta North descent.

The Senator-elect added that the late movie producer was someone who ranked among the greatest film producers of his era. He stressed that the Aboh, Ndokwa East-born producer-cum actor was among those who laid the foundation for the successful entertainment industry that Nigeria has bequeathed to the world.

The Delta North Senator-elect further praised the veteran film maker as a man of strong will and many parts who etched his name on the brighter pages of history.

Prince Nwoko enjoined his family members, friends, associates, the entertainment industry, the people of Ndokwa East LGA, Anioma and Delta State at large to take solace in the fact that the multi-talented producer lived a good and productive life worthy of emulation.

Born in December 1940 to parents from Aboh in Ndokwa East LGA, Chief Eddie Ugbomah died last Saturday, May 11 in Lagos.
