Recall that January 2020 Prince Ned Nwoko went on a symbolic expedition to the extremely cold Antarctica to create an Awareness for Malaria Eradication in Nigeria and Africa. He made history as the first BLACK AFRICAN TO REACH THE SOUTH POLE, ANTARCTICA.

Asa and Showbiz Entrepreneur, Charles Okpaleke, Pay Prince Ned Nwoko a Courtesy Visit

International music sensation Asa paid Prince Ned Nwoko a courtesy visit ahead of her concert in Abuja. Asa was in company of Charles Okpaleke and her management.

Prince Ned shared his Antarctica experience and Malaria Project with the visitors and pointed out the need for everyone to join hands to get Malaria out of Nigeria and Africa at large.

The visitors were very much entertained by Ned as he gave a brief history of the rich cultural heritage of Delta State, the mount Ned Resort, the upcoming Stars University and the brilliant minds that Delta State has produced for Nigeria.

Prince Ned Nwoko presented a copy of his Antarctica Album to Asa and the latter returned a Favour by presenting him with a master vinyl copy of her 4th Album and also invited the Antarctica explorer to her live concert on 3rd of April holding at Transcorp Hilton.

MALARIA PROJECT: Prince Ned Nwoko meets with the Leadership of the National Assembly

It is no longer news that Prince Ned Nwoko is championing a cause for a Malaria free Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Infact the name Ned Nwoko is now synonymous with Malaria Eradication. Still on the road to permanently end the disease in Nigeria, Ned met with the Leadership of the National Assembly including Deputy Senate President, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege,  Chairman Senate Committee on Health, Sen. Yahaya Ibrahim Oloriegbe and Sen James Manager.

The Antarctica explorer shared with them the specific interventions of The Prince Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Project which includes Vaccine Development, Fumigation, Sanitation /Clean up of the entire country and Establishment of recycling plants in each Local government in Nigeria. The former house of reps member stressed on the need to sponsor a Bill for the establishment of an Agency that will see to the complete implementation of the project.

The Deputy Senate President expressed his satisfaction on the project and shares in the opinion that all hands must be on deck to end Malaria, a disease which has ravaged Africa for decades. Worthy to note is the meeting with the Chairman Senate Committee on Health, Sen Yahaya Ibrahim Oloriegbe. The latter who was a former consultant with Global Fund in Liberia shared willingness to support the Malaria Project and further advised on best practices towards the sponsorship of the bill at the National Assembly.

Prince Ned Nwoko was in company of the Malaria Project Coordinator Chuks Anyaduba, Assistant Coordinator on Environment Sonia Somuvie and Technical Assistant to the Coordinator Stephanie Okafor.

FED MIN. OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY TO PARTNER WITH NED NWOKO FOUNDATION TO ERADICATE MALARIA

Prince Ned Nwoko on a visit to the Ministry of Science and Technology, presented the Malaria Project to the Hon. Minister of State for Science and Technology Mohammed Abdullahi and shared with him the key areas of focus to fight Malaria in Nigeria thus: Vaccine Development, Sanitation, Waste Management through establishment of recycling plants in all Local Govt Areas and finally Fumigation. Prince Ned Nwoko stated that Malaria being an African problem must be tackled by Africans and it starts with maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness.

The Hon. Minister praised the initiative of the Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation and also shared in his opinion that even with the COVID-19 pandemic countries came together to proffer immediate solutions towards curving the spread of the pandemic, and within a short while, a vaccine was produced. In his words, “Africa should channel its energy, in research and development findings towards its efforts in finding sustainable solutions to eradicate malaria in Africa”. The Minister disclosed that through one of the Agencies of the ministry, National Institute for Trypanosomiasis Research (NITR) the Ministry will partner with the Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation on the Malaria vaccine research and development. The partnership also extends to other critical areas of the project particularly ensuring that the right chemicals are used for the Fumigation of the environment.

He commended the efforts of the Chairman Prince Ned Nwoko to have ventured into such a humanitarian and selfless initiative to ensure Nigeria and indeed Africa is free from Malaria, a disease that has ravaged the continent for many years. Mr Chuks Anyaduba, Project Coordinator, Prince Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Project, in his closing remarks encouraged all stakeholders to come together in order to put an end to the scourge of malaria in Africa.

Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim and Mc Tagwaye endorse Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Project

Celebrities from Nollywood, Comedy and Music across Nigeria have lent their voices to the laudable project of eradicating malaria in Africa as being proposed by the Billionaire Philanthropist and Antarctica explorer Prince Ned Nwoko.

The campaign being Africa oriented had Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim endorse the project. The actress praised Hon Ned Nwoko for this laudable initiative and presented herself ready to lead the cause in Ghana.

Also, comedian MC Tagwaye popularly known for his mimicking of the President of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari pledged his support as well to put an end to the scourge of malaria in Africa.

Other celebrities who have endorsed the project include Davido, Teni Makanaki, Wiz Kid, Patoraking, Laycon of Big Brother and Mamuze Twins to mention but a few.

Malaria Eradication: Ned Nwoko partners Ministry of Information and Culture

Chairman of Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation and Billionaire Antarctica Explorer Prince Ned Nwoko was received by the Hon. Minister of Information and Culture Prof. Lai Mohammed at his office. They had deliberations on ways of collaborating with the Ministry of Information and Culture on the Malaria Project.

Prince Ned shared the areas of focus of the Project which are: Research for safe Malaria Vaccine, Sanitation and Cleaning of the entire environment, Waste Management and Establishment of recycling plants in every local government and finally total fumigation of the length and breath of the country.

According to Ned, ‘Everyone is a stakeholder in the Malaria Project. All hands must be on deck to end Malaria in Nigeria and Africa’ . The Chairman was in company of his lovely wife and popular actress Regina Daniels as well as the Project Coordinator Mr Chukwuebuka Anyaduba.

Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation Holds Joint Press Conference with Miss Heritage PTY

South African Miss Heritage PTY, the organisers of Miss Heritage Global, partners with Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation to host a press Conference ahead of the Miss Heritage Global (MHG) event slated to hold in October in Abuja, Nigeria.

At the press conference, the President of (MHG), Mr Nhlanhla Shabangu, gave news men an insight on what is expected of the event.

In his words, “it will be a gathering of 60 countries in the city of Abuja and we are glad to be here.”

The Project Coordinator of the Prince Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Project, Mr Chukwuebuka Anyaduba, was at the press conference and opined that the partnership is expected to spread across the continent, along with the message of the Foundation which is a Malaria Free Nigeria and Africa.

In his words, “We believe that there is no better way to advocate the Malaria Eradication Project other than at a gathering of over 60 countries.”

The event is to be co-organized with the Entertainment Economic Summit Africa, headed by Alhaji Musa Mantu Ibrahim, the Wali of Gindiri. The latter exercised satisfaction and confidence in the capacity of Nigeria to host the event and that the strict protocols of Covid-19 will be observed.

On a visit to the Ministry of Health, Prince Ned Nwoko and the Malaria Team met with the Hon. Minister of Health Dr. Osagie Ehanire, Hon. Minister of State, Health, Dr. Olorunnimbe Mamora, the Permanent Secretary, Mr Abdulaziz Mashi Abdullahi and other members of the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP).

Prince Ned presented the Malaria Project to them and discussed possible ways of collaboration to make Nigeria a Malaria free Nation.

The COVID-19 Second Wave and The Possibility of Another Lockdown: Prince Ned

The Initiator, Eradication of malaria in Africa Prince Ned Nwoko says there would be second lockdown all things being equal. Hon Ned in statement released today by his Media aide, Adeniyi ifetayo, proposed that there would be second Lockdown not because of Corona virus pandemic but in a bid to fumigate the entire country. The statement read:

“I went to Antarctica to highlight the problem of malaria in Africa so apart from vaccine development, there’s a need to clean up Nigeria, have a recycling plant in every local government in Nigeria which will birth 3millions jobs and fumigate the entire country from Lagos to Bornu so we are working with the government and relevant stakeholders because there will be another lockdown to fumigate Nigeria wholisticaly in order to have a malaria free Nigeria”

The Billionaire Philanthropist and Antarctica explorer, Prince Ned Nwoko make this statement when The Executives of National Association Of Nigeria Students (NANS) lead by its President, Comr. Danielson Bamidele Akpan yesterday paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. Danielson, in his opening speech on behalf of over 60 million Nigerians students at home and abroad, said

“We have been keen observers of your efforts across the globe, particularly your foundation that’s dealing with malaria eradication project so We are here to appreciate you, Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and this body (NANS) is here to partner with you because what you are doing is a Service to Humanity and that is what is required of a leader to do”.

He stressed further that NANS is glad to have you, a man who has chosen to be a Philanthropist and your malaria project has caught our attention because malaria kills most young people in Nigeria. the leadership of the students union are in supportive of your noble cause, we will work with you to make sure that this project come to fruition. The NANS executive also used the opportunity to invite Prince Ned Nwoko to the 40th anniversary of the Association where the Initiator, Eradication of malaria in Africa, Prince Ned Nwoko would be inducted into the hall of fame and be one of the life Patrons of NANS.

Hon Ned in his Response talked about one Nigeria, fiscal sector and malaria project which can create 3 millions jobs in the first 6 months of implementation. He said “I believe in one Nigeria, I have come to the conclusion that the problem of Nigeria is not just about law and order but its about her economy and if government can focus on fiscal sector like Banks, Insurance companies, mortgage and security exchange commissions things will be easier for average Nigerians”

Governments can compel banks to give grants to graduate and provides students loans at 1% which the students will pay back when they start working. The Initiator of Eradication of Malaria in Africa also stated that Our economy is key to all these problems that we have because Nigeria of today is like the survival of the fittest but just like in UK and USA, if we can focus on the fiscal sector then most of our problems will be solved.

Federal Character Commissioners Paid Ned Nwoko a Courtesy Vist

Like Minds Explorers from the Federal Character commission paid Prince Ned Nwoko a courtesy visit in Abuja. The commissioners from the six
geo political zones highlighted on his kind gestures and having heard of the mararia project, encouraged him and his lofty achievements. They used this oppprtunity to introduce him to Like Minds Explorers and invited him to be their patron.

Prince Ned, in his usuall practice, shared his antarctica experience with them and also encouraged everyone to support the Malaria Project. Speaking on their behalf, the leader of the delegation Lady Ginika Tor expressed optimism that the FCC will no doubt be part of this great initiative to eradicate malaria in Africa. She further thanked the Antarctica Explorer for embarking on this Project and opined that malaria affects every one as such, everyone must come together for us to eradicate malaria in Nigeria and Africa.
