On a visit to the Ministry of Health, Prince Ned Nwoko and the Malaria Team met with the Hon. Minister of Health Dr. Osagie Ehanire, Hon. Minister of State, Health, Dr. Olorunnimbe Mamora, the Permanent Secretary, Mr Abdulaziz Mashi Abdullahi and other members of the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP).
Prince Ned presented the Malaria Project to them and discussed possible ways of collaboration to make Nigeria a Malaria free Nation.
The Initiator, Eradication of malaria in Africa Prince Ned Nwoko says there would be second lockdown all things being equal. Hon Ned in statement released today by his Media aide, Adeniyi ifetayo, proposed that there would be second Lockdown not because of Corona virus pandemic but in a bid to fumigate the entire country. The statement read:
“I went to Antarctica to highlight the problem of malaria in Africa so apart from vaccine development, there’s a need to clean up Nigeria, have a recycling plant in every local government in Nigeria which will birth 3millions jobs and fumigate the entire country from Lagos to Bornu so we are working with the government and relevant stakeholders because there will be another lockdown to fumigate Nigeria wholisticaly in order to have a malaria free Nigeria”
The Billionaire Philanthropist and Antarctica explorer, Prince Ned Nwoko make this statement when The Executives of National Association Of Nigeria Students (NANS) lead by its President, Comr. Danielson Bamidele Akpan yesterday paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja. Danielson, in his opening speech on behalf of over 60 million Nigerians students at home and abroad, said
“We have been keen observers of your efforts across the globe, particularly your foundation that’s dealing with malaria eradication project so We are here to appreciate you, Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and this body (NANS) is here to partner with you because what you are doing is a Service to Humanity and that is what is required of a leader to do”.
He stressed further that NANS is glad to have you, a man who has chosen to be a Philanthropist and your malaria project has caught our attention because malaria kills most young people in Nigeria. the leadership of the students union are in supportive of your noble cause, we will work with you to make sure that this project come to fruition. The NANS executive also used the opportunity to invite Prince Ned Nwoko to the 40th anniversary of the Association where the Initiator, Eradication of malaria in Africa, Prince Ned Nwoko would be inducted into the hall of fame and be one of the life Patrons of NANS.
Hon Ned in his Response talked about one Nigeria, fiscal sector and malaria project which can create 3 millions jobs in the first 6 months of implementation. He said “I believe in one Nigeria, I have come to the conclusion that the problem of Nigeria is not just about law and order but its about her economy and if government can focus on fiscal sector like Banks, Insurance companies, mortgage and security exchange commissions things will be easier for average Nigerians”
Governments can compel banks to give grants to graduate and provides students loans at 1% which the students will pay back when they start working. The Initiator of Eradication of Malaria in Africa also stated that Our economy is key to all these problems that we have because Nigeria of today is like the survival of the fittest but just like in UK and USA, if we can focus on the fiscal sector then most of our problems will be solved.
Like Minds Explorers from the Federal Character commission paid Prince Ned Nwoko a courtesy visit in Abuja. The commissioners from the six geo political zones highlighted on his kind gestures and having heard of the mararia project, encouraged him and his lofty achievements. They used this oppprtunity to introduce him to Like Minds Explorers and invited him to be their patron.
Prince Ned, in his usuall practice, shared his antarctica experience with them and also encouraged everyone to support the Malaria Project. Speaking on their behalf, the leader of the delegation Lady Ginika Tor expressed optimism that the FCC will no doubt be part of this great initiative to eradicate malaria in Africa. She further thanked the Antarctica Explorer for embarking on this Project and opined that malaria affects every one as such, everyone must come together for us to eradicate malaria in Nigeria and Africa.
The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Rev Yakubu Pam met Prince Ned Nwoko. The duo discussed some of the Challanges in Nigeria particularly the Health Sector and how we can advance towards a sustainable health care. This includes ensuring clean and healthy environment to get rid of mosquitos. Rev Yakubu pledged the support of the commission on the Malaria Eradication Project and encouraged the Antarctica explorer not to give up on this laudable initiative.
Earlier today, Winner of Big Brother Season 5, Laycon, paid a courtesy visit to Prince Ned Nwoko. The former shared his experience in the Big Brother House, the lessons and how he intends to use his newly acquired fame to positively impact the society. He also pledged his support for the Prince Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Project.
Prince Ned Nwoko today held valuable talks with the Director General of Nigerian Governors Forum Mr A. B Okauru on the need for Nigerian Governors across the Federation to key into the Malaria Eradication Project. Ned explained the strategies for Environmental clean up which includes setting up 3 recycling plants on each state of the Federation and getting the state and local governments to buy into the project. Prince Ned was accompanied by the Malaria Project Coordinator Chukwuebuka Anyaduba.
The Director General who was once in Cuba for a Malaria Programme stressed on the need for Nigeria to be malaria free. He welcomed the initiative of the Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation and emphasised on the fact that it was long over due for Nigeria to be free from the burden of malaria.
The Sky Sports Nigeria Man of The Year Award by Sky Sports Nigeria was presented to Prince Ned Nwoko at his Idumuje Ugboko residence yesterday.

Salient steps are being taken to complete the number one sports University in African. Stars University is one of Prince Ned’s many steps to further develop sport in the continent as as whole.
Earlier today in Asaba, the Delta State University led by the Vice Chancelor Prof. Andy Egwunyenga confered a Distinguish Service to Humanity Award to the man behind Malaria Eradication Project, Prince Dr. Ned Nwoko.
The British High Commissioner Catriona Laing yesterday hosted the Initiator of Eradication of malaria in Africa and Antarctica explorer, Prince Ned Nwoko, his wife and Global Ambassador, Regina Daniels and the Project coordinator, Chukwuebuka Anyaduba at her residence in Abuja. Hon Ned Nwoko who lead his team shared the Malaria Project with her and sought for the partnership and collaboration of the British Government for a successful implementation of the project.
The High Commissioner in her response praised the Antarctica explorer for having the courage and zeal to embark on the task of ensuring a malaria free Nigeria and Africa as a whole. She also assured Prince Ned of the readiness of the Commission to collaborate with the Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation especially in area of strategic communication on the Malaria Project.
The Project Coordinator Mr Chukwuebuka Anyaduba also pointed out the fact that such collaboration is essential at this preliminary stage of the project so as to ensure a wholistic approach in the fight for malaria free Africa. Also present at the meeting was the Health Adviser for FCDO British High Commission, Mr Ebere Anyachukwu. The courtesy visit took place at the eve of Nigeria 60th independence Anniversary and Prince Ned Nwoko also used the opportunity to wish Nigerians true freedom from malaria.

A delegation from the Nollywood Community led by the Vice President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) South South Zone Hon. Rita Daniels and Veteran Actress Patience Ozokwor popularly known as Mama G paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of the Ned Nwoko Foundation, Hon Prince Ned Nwoko at his country home in Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North LGA of Delta State.
Mama G while giving her remarks expressed gratitude to Prince Nwoko for his involvement in the film industry as well as his passion for culture, describing it as a gateway in the preservation of the rich cultural heritage of the country.
Speaking to those present, the Delta State Philanthropist and International Legal Practitioner promised to always be there for the guild in ensuring the production of movies which would help salvage the reputation of Nigeria and Africa as a whole in the eyes of the International community.
The host left no stone unturned as the Nollywood delegation were treated to lunch and a tour round the Mount Ned Nwoko Tourism and Cultural Center.
